What inspired LESHY Gear?

Our LESHY Gear brand started with an idea, born from a desire to recognize my Czech heritage, and by doing so, to honor my father’s memory. See the "About Us" section if you're curious to know more of the story.

How can I share the Legend of the Leshy?

Every hat includes an interior label with a QR code that links directly to our website and socials, plus a printed hangtag that has the complete "Legend of the Leshy - Guardian of the Woods" story.

Is the Leshy found in folklore considered to be a cryptid?

According to Google, no. "The Leshy is a supernatural woodland spirit from Slavic mythology rather than a hidden biological animal studied by cryptozoology... Cryptids are framed as real, flesh-and-blood animals waiting to be discovered, not as immortal nature spirits."
